ASSOCIATES IN ONCOLOGY AND HEMATOLOGY (AOH) was founded in 1985 by Dr. James A. Brown (retired). Since that time, it has grown to seven physicians, three physicians' assistants and nurse practitioners, a team of oncology certified registered nurses, and a support staff of forty including receptionists, laboratory technologists and phlebotomists, patient care assistants, insurance coordinator, clinical research personnel, medical records, billing and finance personnel . We have two office locations in Montgomery County to serve patients from the entire Washington D.C. metropolitan area and nearby states.

Our mission is to provide individualized, compassionate, comprehensive, state of the art medical oncology and hematology care to all patients in a safe, warm and supportive setting. We take pride in our ability to achieve and maintain this goal despite an ever changing health care environment, and pledge to maintain our commitment to high quality, personalized medical care.
