ASSOCIATES IN ONCOLOGY AND HEMATOLOGY (AOH) was founded in 1985 by Dr. James A. Brown (retired). Since that time, it has grown to five physicians, three physicians' assistants, a team of oncology certified registered nurses, and a support staff of forty including receptionists, laboratory technologists and phlebotomists, medical records and billing personnel, patient care assistants, insurance coordinator, and clinical research personnel. We have two office locations in Montgomery County to serve patients from the entire Washington , D.C. metropolitan area and nearby states.

Our mission is to provide individualized, compassionate, comprehensive, state of the art medical oncology and hematology care to all patients in a safe, warm and supportive setting. We take pride in our ability to achieve and maintain this goal despite an ever changing health care environment, and pledge to maintain our commitment to high quality, personalized medical care.
